Default Volitile Magic.

Is any one else completely sick of the VM line? The power maintenance is just so much work at times. Has this been discussed? Id love to see the power requirement removed. The guardian mythical removes a requirement to there AA spec. why couldnt this be so in our case?

30% more damage with no downside? hmm don't think that will be happening.

Power can be a pain on some fights, but with the right gear choices and a bit of regen it's just like any other day for me. For me controlling power is part of being a chanter and one of the things that makes it so different to doing dps then any other classes. If you want to do dps without it roll a wiz or something. Or you could just do dps on full power if you are too lazy to go the extra mile and get the boost.

I don't have the mythical yet but from what I hear it gives more then enough power back. Will have to wait and see if I ever get mine tho

So you want to do Wizard DPS without any downside? Go play a Wizard.

I have the mythical. Sometimes its just to much power... On encounter fights, granted there isnt many, its very hard to keep your power down.

Hit Sprint. I've been in a group with 2 Illusionist Mythicals and the Earring of Unkempt Energies. Is it hard? Not really, sprint more. Deal with it.

Is it just me or isn't that the fun part of the game? with no challenges and everything going exactly as planned every time this game would even more dull. All classes have something they don't like, just deal with it. Think summoners like their pet dying mid fight? Maybe they should add something that makes them invulnerable?

Buckler dps with a tower. I dont really see a difference. I would like the power requirement removed also. Would make playing the class a lot more enjoyable.

Sprint takes 15% power when you hit it, just double tap sprint and in like 5 seconds it's good to go again.

umm have you been in TNT with you mythical Cal? cos with my myth starting on 5 percent power after chromatic, gamma, grp stun and manatap i was above 70percent like every pull of the grp of 6. im rly not able to sprint that much. have yet to see that large encounter in RoK xcept Prots but still my point is not everything is sprintable.
On the other hand, you have to be awake during fight and thats what i like on playing illu. (heck did you enjoy all other classes trying to maintain their power between certain percent on Venril so much as i did? :D )
