Yes, but considering the change a while back on how if a mob is immune to the effect, it will just straight-out resist it. Whereas the stun/stifles also have power-drains attached, thus won't get straight-out resisted.

After looking at the post on the Coercer thread, I dunno if I'm so excited just yet. Sounds to me like Coercers are getting all of the fixes they should have a long time ago; but it also kind of sounds to me like they'll be an Illusionist if not a little better for DPS. Hell I don't know, but it just sounds like they're buffing them out the ass! =/

I doubt their dps will be any better than an illusionist's, and their utility is a lot worse.

Worse? Minus our pet outside of raids, I've always considered Coercers to have much more utility, they can get power back to the group faster than an Illus IMO. True they have a bit more utility based buffs for healers and tanking groups but I just don't see coercers as being less utility than Illus.

If raids were "swarmed" with mezzable mobs, you know what would work better? A Paladin w/ Amends on a Warlock or a Zerker offtanking with a Swash hate-transfer.

I guess a more apropriate term is, their utility is a lot more situational than an illusionist. Illusionists seem to have more utility that is good for any group, any class.
