Yet Again..DPS Help

Yes, this is Another post on DPS Casting Order. my question is for those illy's hittin 3.5k-4.5k's in VP without a mythical please. i know there are some other post or what ever that has same questions, but im directing this to those who are up on the parse, and not the ones that just get by.

I need a Casting order...from start to the point to where u go back to reapeating. ive looked through the boards and tried 1 or 2 from t7 wit the t8 spells, and one post with t8 casting order, but i keep gettin 2.5-2.8k maybe one or two were 3k. Im hittin beam every time it comes up, i keep adornment on an auto attacker..Do i let the dots run? etc...please give me the best advice possible..without bein a dick and sayin "Read other posts". haha.

Generally you're looking at the exact same casting order. Not to be a dick but "read ALL of the other posts" It might not be casting order you're lacking as much as it could be gear and spell quality, and yes, let brainclot run, but spam the other shit.

The t7 casting order is still very relevant, use that and 5k+ parses are possible, possibly even 6. This however is dependant on your group, overall raid debuffs, spell quality and gear.

I had the same impression about clot when i played my illu alt
didnt have any nice gear still dont got any but 3,5 to 5 was doable in vp for me
50 spell crit and mythical 690 boe
but have to admit after a while playin this class ur fingers start hurting especially in the 5min plus fights :P

way higher parsing illu friend always tells me to let it tick out
and use stuff like tandem macro etc to keep the castspeed going
on the rare ocassion nothing is up for split second i could recast clot

I second that, i have around 80 spell crit, 600 boe, 4-set from classgear and death chimes. I most of the time let brainclot tick out and it leads me to parsing 8K+ (not far from 9k atm) on vp trash. I mean i have enough damagespells to press to let brainclot tick out (aa ca's + racial spell).
To me timing your spells (when do i use what spell) is the key to high dps. Just pressing buttons will always result in lower dps. With some better gear i see 10k as a realistic trashparse in vp (dark orb of mind, hoshkar mage loot, trak belt, ...).
