Ok first please dont blast me as i am trying to understand this stuff.

I currently have a +spell damage of 792 with a crit of 75.

I see stuff refering to boe (not sure what this is sorry) but my question is where should a illie stop +spell damage and add crit.

Also what is the max +spell damage and crit damage before its not worth putting more in it and using proc items.

If this is in other post sorry i looked and am not trying to be dum just trying to learn my class better and up my dps.

Also how do you calculate int amount to get crit value?

I saw in another post where pinski posted

For max crits you can get:

Base = 1
INT = 12
Hat = 7
Cloak = 4
Robe = 9
Shoulders = 7
Forearms = 7
Gloves = 4
Belt = 2
Pants = 4
Boots = 4
Necklace = 5
Ear1 = 4
Ear2 = 4
Ring1 = 3
Ring2 = 3
Wrist1 = 4
Wrist2 = 4
Charm1 = 1
Weapon = 8+2
Secondary = 4+1
Ranged = 5+1

110 Self-buffed Crits.

but going off that list I done see that as a good set up to go by. You would be missing out on your 4 set bonus to tandem and I think you would have low spell damage, with an optimal gear and group set up you should be able to hit 600-700 spell and around 100 crit still keeping your 4 set tandem damage.

INT AA line gives 12% crit with 8 points spent in it. He's not referring to the stat.

That's a really old list, before SOH, before VP loot revamp. It was just a "100% crit is possible, this is how" post.

I play on a PvP server. We have Cerium who I think got his spell damage to about 260 and stopped but got tons of crit gear, and Pumpkin who got as much spell damage as possible. Which is better ( mind you, neither is an illy anymore, but they were really high parsers when they were )?
