He also had two wizards with him, but the 2nd wizard might only count for maybe ~3% of the dps.. since it was 6% total... gave him a 250-300 dps push. Still puts him over 8k

edit: for those who dont know... im talking about ice lash aka velium gift

I don't remember waiting or preping for anything... I was trying out the Set bp + Rot4w and got 2or3 jcaps preety much it for cod.

I'm just confused on how the high hits are so high and the averages are that much higher, tbh. Even on the pet, which should be equal, no?

You mean Brad/Mindwarped? He was ok but had a pretty stacked group when he was in my mage group and he had two solid wizards doing back to back velium gift and constant back to back rays. It was definately working in his favor.
