Illy vs. Coercer Soloing Heroics - Page 2

Having played both I can honestly say it's alot easier to solo Chelsith and stuff as a Coercer imo. That might change as I get used to farming on the illy again, but atm it seems like coercer was 10x easier to farm w/.

Been reading through this and aren't boss mobs going to be immune to stun mezz or will that only be the new Boss mobs in the xpac?

The only mobs that are in-game now that will be altered in the next expansion pack are avatars I think.

Coercer's are so fuking over-powered when it comes to soloing its crazy. I personally watched a coercer on my server go through KC, clear the trash, grab 3 named at once and kill them. Let me say that again, three named at ONCE.

WTF other class can do that? They need a nerf so bad it wreaks of bullshit.

Any class that can solo chelsith, a zone that wipes normal geared GROUPS is a fuking joke.

I will admit that one on one there isnt much difference between illy & Coercer, But when it comes to clearing through a dungeon coercers win hands down. There charm needs a nerf in the worst way.

Considering they can do it in 30 mins flat, and very very few illys can even do it effectively, much less in 3-4 hours, yes they are still way to overpowered.

They need a nerf stick swung at them bad.

Lets see...2 minute or so recast on Trak belt and by the time I kill a named in chelsith its usually up by the time I get to the next mob. Thats ~3 minutes per named, and I kill...6 or 7 named, i forget, thats ~20 minutes at most unless I screw up a pull/break the encounter mid-fight on accident. I don't clear trash and I don't kill the leviathans since they're useless.

The coercevr is a tad bit faster just because of the sheer DPS burst you can get, but the illy is still very good at soloing.

And a CC class pulling 3 CCable mobs at once...no way. Mez ftw?

I think Lockeye has re-registered as CaptainCrunch.

Coercers are not overpowered, it is just that crowd control gives you the ability to, err, control crowds.

Alternatively, you adopt the Lockeye method and leave the class nerfed to stupidity and make virtually every mob of note uncharmable/unmezzable/unstunable, all in the name of balance.

Not everyone has a trak belt ya dumb fuk. A coercer with average gear can still rip through there. Ok, you leave the trash up, are ya going to leave the trash up in KC? Nope.

Compare a coercer and an illy with Just RoK quested gear and tell me which one has an infinitely easier time clearing trash/farming named.
