I am currently having a debate with some as to why the AA strength line is a better choice for raiding than the stamina. I am not the number cruncher or a member of hardcore raiding guild, so i converted to the strength line upon the advice of those better at the class than myself, and in the brief descriptions i found while searching these forums. The problem arises that our healers need all the help they can get, and that such a selection seems out of character for the betterment of the raid. Can anyone offer a detailed post on why STR AA is a more productive choice than STA AA?
its just more dps, if your healers suck so bad that they need the little bit of extra crit from stamina then by all means take it.
And as punishment for their suckage make sure to kill them whenever they have a mob targeted and afk for w/e BS reason (as im sure they do) use the Stamina line ability to pull a mob agro onto them.
Spec into Perpetuality (sp?) and Volitile Magic. Take all remaining points into your TSO tree. With 143 AA (iirc) you can get PoM. PoM > Str & Stamn. Then grind AA and max your Illy line in the TSO tree for Destructive Rampage.
Tell whoever you will be willing to re-visit the topic after you cap AA.

Awesome idea..
Except for the fact you need 70 points spent in Enchanter line..
And 70 in Illusionist trees before you can get into the TSO Illy line.
Back on topic tho...
STR line is for more damage. (Melee) I do about 5-700 dps with my mythical. And I did about 3-400 with fabled.
STA line is for you fixing your crappy healers heal crit. You should not need the hate reduction. But its there.
you are wrong on the requirments there i don't know what they really are but its far lower then you have stated here, its certainly a option to reassign aa's below 140 into the shadow tree.
Kelo
Wrong, try again. You need 140aa's assigned into your chanter and illusionist trees before you can put points into your illusionist SHADOWS line, and even then you'll need 30-33 points to get to your illusionist line, so...173?
You wont get the last line in shadow and the much wanted end abillitys brfore you have 182/184 aa. But what you can do is respec your old aa and put some of them into the general, mage and enchanter. At 144 aa I managed to get the first 3 lines in shadow done, only loosing the str line in old enchanter line and some minor stuff in the old illu line. The result was a major increasse in performance.
Right now im closing the gab between 150 and 170 aa. Im using tose 20 points in the stamina line up to get some agro controle.
Sorry Slips, its you that are wrong. Yes you must have earned 140 AA points to place in the shadow tree, but no, they do not need to be placed. You do need 170 earned aa's before you can place in the illusionist line for the shadow tree. I have already spec'd the primary things i want from the shadow lines in minus the illusionist tree and have returned to the stamina line for now just to ease pissing and moaning. Thanks for the participation and the information all.
Ive got peace of mind + time comp + double + kos int and agi at around 132 AA. No you dont need 70 aa in both class trees to spend some into tso tree, go respec to find that out and read less obsolete posts on the boards
