The entire page that I linked is all about WHY you should take the strength line if you bother to click the link, why you should with and without a mythical, how much dps it adds, etc. This guy asked what he needed to know other than masters, equipment and casting order to get better dps. I made no mention of any specific dps, just that I thought your dps with a troub was low. "without a troub in group i currently parse anywhere from 16 to 24 and with a troub, usually about 19 to 30. " If you want something OTHER than equip, spells and casting order...melee and cast more often!

I never said I was a great illusionist, I really was trying to be helpful. You asked for a reason as to why someone would put points into Str and what I linked you has explanations from other illys as to why they put points into str. And my first reponse was my reason for putting points into Str.

For all the complaining that you do about the shit talk in the illy forums, you responded in a really hookerish way to a genuine response to your question.

perhaps it is that i misunderstood you, which is quite easily possible in forums. i did update my parse in a later post than the first prior to your post. it is without a troub., why i am get the current group setup i do in raid, i do not know, but it seems one of two point, 1)ia and haste are wanted more, or 2) which is more like, that i'm being viewed solely for power regen. It makes it harder to hang in dps like coercers do especially when loot needed is not dropping from the instances. for them, they average 2.6k to 3.2 going off memory. It is signifigantly more than mine, though they do have more masters and better gear, neither by a much greater extent. keep in mind also, this isn't a hardcore raid guild, it does raid 3 times a week, but it is semi casual guild. i do not know if this enlightens you at all to my situation. i do have a hard time believing that a couple more masters and a few better pieces of gear are going to jack me up that much, but i could be wrong, mainly though i am trying to get the best out of what i have. i am leveling my crushing skill as i write this since i've neglected it since around lvl 10, and have realigned my aa's. if that parse of 2.6k is low without a troub, any ideas of what i may be doing wrong, because believe me, i have been trying out just about everything i could find, and str line i was most hesitent and now i am even trying that.

I love these boards... to ask a question you just about have to post an apology for asking the question. lol.

Since I've never seen a spell efficiency chart for Illy, I'll post what I've got so far with my spreadsheet, but keep in mind it's a work in progress. Maybe this will help, maybe not, I don't really care anymore, I just like crunching numbers. :D

Or you could take a 2 second screen shot of an ACT ZW of COD or VP and they could have already given you 12 reasons why your dps sucks. But keep posting long-winded time wasters.

Yes, I post about it here, because I mentioned I was posting it, and obviously you have a vendetta against me and my style of posting - hard to delete or lock this entire thread without other people asking questions.
