Re: Noobs look here!
Oki, im sorry to interupt this nice flame thread with an actual question.
I sorta miss the explernation of why I should go with the str line (for casual raiding, no mythical).
If you dont give it to me, i'm sad to say that I will have to quit the game or brtray to a coressor :-)
pleezz dont flame me, I cant stand the AOE my boots are still treasured.

Re: Noobs look here!
Because the Stamina line is worthless, and the Wisdom line is even more of a joke? It's the lesser of 3 "evils". Stamina line which does very little, Wisdom line which does even less, and then Strength line, which at least increases your DPS.

Re: Noobs look here!
Forgive me for disagreeing with the hallowed majority, but I'd have to say the final line to take depends on your typical raid setup. If you are mostly premythical and/or don't have the 'expert' raid setup, then the other lines may be useful. WIS basically is good only for extreme cases of mezzing required (I think our chanter did this just for Nexona when we were having serious issues with the adds - but now past her and once we all have mythicals this shouldn't be an issue, as an example). STA can be worthwhile, especially in MT/OT group (though, of course, ideally the MT chanter will be a coercer), for the heal crits. Even a mage group chanter who has survivability issues may want to go WIS anyway, especially if you are running without a troub on a particular night. While the endline can't magically pull mobs in the middle of other mobs anymore, it *can* still help to save your raidmates in certain situations.
So just look at the effects and consider *your* raidforce. STR will certainly get you more dps, especially if you are with a scout group where you can take advantage of dirge/inquisitor buffs in addition. Might be worthwhile having the STA line setup in your AA mirror, maybe not.

No, it doesn't matter where you are in your raid force. STA is useless. Heal Crits are overrated. WIS line won't help your survivability against AEs that deal Focus Damage. You're better off going STR line so you can maybe parry an AE.

I get a feeling you're going to be disappointed when you see the STR line for coercers.
