Dumbing down your dps isnt the answer. If you pull ago on multi encounters you can group stun ae mez/deagro and blink or tell your tank that if he cant do his job then your gonna group mez and let him pick em off one at a time. If your pulling agro on solos i dont see the problem. You can keep a mob stun/dazed for the whole fight so the sec you get agro start your stun/stifle/daze order. Damn near everything in tso can be rooted stunned stifled dazed and mezzed so enchanter tanking isnt even a problem. The tank will get sick of looking like shit and step it up sooner or later.

After putting a lot of AA into Shadows damage upgrades and getting pretty good gear, I have serious problems with aggro when there is not a bard in the group. Always having a bard in the group would be nice but it is just not practical to refuse to group without a bard if I want to play much. Doing less dps should not be the answer. (Guardian tanks are the worst, but I have problems with other tanks too. And not grouping with guardians is not an acceptable answer either.)
So...
(1) Is it time to put AA into the STA line? Right now I am concentrated in AGI and INT.
(2) Is there gear out there with hate reduction for Illys? I have Earring of the Void Transfer already. I have a few items with Befuddle and do not wear them much because they do not seem to do much good (other than to reduce my dps because they have no spell crit or spell mod).
(3) Is Split Personality any good? I would have to lose Illuminate, but I think my disruption and subjugation are high enough that it would not be that big a loss.

If i wasent so lazy i would have an AA mirro made with the Sta line instead of STR. That would help allot in those non-bard groups. But so far i have been putting it off while waiting for the long awaited change. If i wasent raiding im sure i would have the sta line permanent. That little bit of dps you get in groups from mele dosent matter anyhow.

Aggro procs are useless, just like the STA line. If you are pulling aggro, start off slower, and now you even have an EZ-mode hate meter on your target...if you're getting up to the top, slow the fuck down and mana flow someone..canni, use a buff...send a tell to your favorite inquisitor?

1) get better tank. I grouped with all classes tanking and if i had aggro issues, then it was in the player, not the class itself.

2) get better group setup. It ends up in better spend time for all 6 of you. No hate buffs for the tank means no Dailon in the group. Good thing that i play with people who know what they need.

3) dont lower your dps too much. As was said before, if you steal agro, stunlock the mob and keep dps. If its dead, it cant hit you back.

4) aa spec i found STR more benefitial for me stealing agro than STA. With STA, i steal agro and get hit. With STR, i steal agro and riposte. (Riposte on Silverwing anyone?

If you're talking about grouping, you'll quite often pull aggro if you're good at your class. In raids it's more balanced cause a MT will have plenty of hatemods/transfers on him and we will receive enough hatedecreasers to be able to go full out. If you still pull aggro quite often in raids, well, get a new tank lol (it always can happen ofcourse, but you can still turn of your wicked wand then if you have one).
