Wrong. You do not need 50 points spent in each tree to open the Enchanter line of the Shadows Tree. You only need to have spent 120 points in any of the 3(in ANY combination) trees to open the Enchanter line of the Shadows Tree.

interesting... when I respecced last week, I was having problems putting in any points into the Enchanter line of the Shadow tree.

I had 49 spent in KoS and 50 in Eof, plus 10 in General Shadow and 11 in Mage Shadow. But it wasn't until I put the 50th point in KoS that I got the Enchanter line in Shadow opened up. I might've been smoking something at the time cuz Pinski is usually right :P

It's neither here nor there tho. The main point is that if people are having trouble getting points in Enchanter Shadow line, there's 2 things to check for.

I have to agree with Hammer.. I wasn't able to put anything in the Enchanter tree untill i had 50 points spent in each of the other trees.

Well I can still spend points in the Enchanter line of Shadows Tree and I only have 49 points in spent in the Enchanter Tree sooo.

69 in enchanter tree, 47 in illusionist tree, 36 in shadows tree with 3 lines open. You dont have to spend 50 in each to get 3rd line open.

Of course we could spend another 2 pages debating whether or not there are 3 lines in TSO or 4 lines since everyone can't decide on one or the other. No there's a base with 3 lines, No there's 4 lines of TSO AAs!
