having tested it yesterday, a top geared illus using the wand is pushing out enourmous extra hate

group was sk inquis troub illus brig conjuror we did cod trash (g2 was guard zerker swash templar).
the illus was pushing 13+k without the wand. i was ~7k dps and ~4k hate/sec
aggro was fine as long as he didnt use the wand but with the wand it became really tough.
i guess a fully buffed mt (dirge coercer) may still be able to hold illus dps with wand

soe did at least not totally fuck up aggro, seems thair calculations are ok.
i did not use trak shield btw

Yeah I did I just didnt go back to page two after the initial postings, to see them talking about the wicked wand there.

I can understand why he'd be pulling massive amounts of hate, that thing was severely over-powered when you had a troubador grouped with a mage using that. The threat proc was almost nullified, certainly wasn't anything to worry about (isn't till they change it I guess).

It serves the game fucking right. Do you expect to be able to use a 250 dmg proc per spell 1200 threat per spell and NOT take aggro? Come the fuck on. That should only be used for mages that transfer (dunno if Coercers are keeping theirs, but from the sound of things they probably won't) or ones that want to die/tank for glory. Sorry but I knew that item's day was coming. SOE just forgot they were supposed to do this threat/taunt change before SoH came out!
