What about a Brig/Dirge/or Troub?

I know a troub would use Tandem as well, but can they "solo" well?

I gues illus can duo ok with most clases. We can handel heorics solo, so it all depends on how we wana fight. Max dps - go with another illu or a wiz. Max security go with a warden, wana go mele, go for a SK/pally.

Slips

Wardens give us shit back. Shaman or cleric for healer.

Faxon

i leveled my illy by boxing it with my pally. it was fucking easy as hell to do pretty much anything. i even boxed my epic updates in KC pulling multiple mobs at a time (my pally's gear sucks to boot). i only got in a situation where i had to mez anything once, and usually a group stun was enough for me to at least take down 1 mob in a group of 3 and get the other 2 to 40%. worked so great im leveling a dirge the same way with my monk at some point

LightCC

While Illys can take down a lot of named, problems occur when they are CC immune, therefore something that can help on that type of named is probably best. Like Faxon did with Pally, or an SK, or any healer really, though warden probably has the least synergy of the 6 there.

Ferrara

Honestly, I box my illy with a lot of other classes. You are going to do the best by just playing the illy and have the other char follow. I melted mobs in 1-2 hits up until mid 30's. Give it a thought.

Relax

Just go crusader type. Both are beastly and easy to wtf pwn solo let alone with illy buffs.
