Best Duo Class?

I've been trying to find the answer but to no avail I haven't found someone else who asked this.

I'm looking to create a RoF account and mentor down with Illy and just auto-follow him around with his buffs. What would be the best class to do this with? I was thinking Bruiser.

Any ideas?

Crusader or another mage probably. I liked duoing when leveling my mystic up also.

Hybrid or bard will get largest benefit of the full range of illy buffs. Mage or healer next. Any melee gets a lot of benefit too though, just lose the TC/tandem benefit for 90% of abilities.

If it's your first character on the other account, may want to consider a healer - once you get him level'd you'll be able to duo him with any character on your current account to good effect.

SK hands down. They can use Tandem, TC, IA.

Ohh and Dopple if they fucked up.

I duo with an SK, it's fun for sure :-) End SK Str line AA + TC is insane on em.

But really, Illy's can duo with other illusionists too, TC for both!
