Welcome to the illusionist forums, the majority of the players here are fairly old school illusionists or chanters. Most of us don't mind answering questions, but people are constantly asking stupid ones. All of us have been new at this and all of us learn, but a piece of advice, there is a huge set of stickies at the top of this forum, they explain almost everything about the class, from casting orders, to mythicals, to gear choices etc. Make sure you know these backwards and forwards before making a post or your going to get flamed like this every time. There also is an illusionst World Wide chat (butcherblock.illusionists) however, a moment of warning, its pretty much populated with the people here. If you want to grow as an illy and you want to do more DPS and learn to do things with this class nobody realized is possible, then you are in the right place. However, don't expect very few of the people here to just cater to you and explain things as simple as quest updates or spell cast orders etc, they all expect you to do some of the work.

We are illy's not fury's we ask that the ones that play our class use their minds to some degree.
