The Soothing mind proc is broken by itself. Im not sure when it was changed into its current form tho.

Anyway, the proc now works in two steps:
step 1: Illusionist proc the buff on each of the groupmembers. This buff does not feed yet.
step 2: Anyone with the buff procd by an illusionist will proc the second buff on group. This is the one that actually does the feeding.

The catch: Both of these buffs share the same name and i can only assume, they overwrite each other. So the buff from step 2, which might do the feeding, will be overwrited by illusionists step 1 Soothing Mind, resetting the buff on the group and prevents the feeding procs from going off.

It does go off, but it gets resetted into the nonfeeding buff. If you check your Power replenish (out) parses, you will see Soothing mind there for your groupmembers.

/bugged it after i figured this.

So what you're saying is, it ends up procing everytime which is why we don't get any power back? Yet my group's power is dropping as well at the same time and they aren't seeing any power as well? No, this means there is some buff that blocks it from procing. As I said, I haven't gotten around to caring about it.

What im saying is, that i have found this issue. I dont have access to your gear, so you are capable of more testing than i can do. There may and probably are more bugs around.

It's probably been about 3 weeks or so that I've been running low. Been swapping out dps gear for power gear on long fights. Still having to spam manashroud/tap just to keep my power up. Although the weird thing is that I'm usually the one low on power... not the whole group.

Alright, so I'm no uber illy with woot gear, but I've been finding certain power issues myself, even when spamming manatap/extract/savante. Everyone else seems fine, just me dropping like a whore on a paying customer...

I was thinking it's just that I need better gear, but after reading this, who knows.

I am not sure what you guys are doing but my problem is that I can't get out of power, and my group is aways full except those that dont dps like healers. But after I showed my regular healer how the icon looks like she is always full also. I dont bother with savante and extract, But always use manatap. After i get rezed for example, I just spam my dps buttons like hell and I get to full power fairly quick. But the key is to hammer all those dps buttons as much as possible.

Note: I am mythed. When I had my Fabled it did not work as well and I needed more help. Also Manastone is ftw also it works while running also.

I am a Defiler. Have been for four years. I haven't researched at all from log files and it may not be connected in any way, but I was reading your posts and thought I would just let you all know that about 10 months ago, my power, that 'I NEVER LOOKED AT' started to change, and it had nothing to do with my chanters. I say change because basically what I saw happen over the last year was in such microscopic increments that alone did not warrant attention but now, have become a major issue. I never leave home without 6 roots, totems, pots, signets, and a prayer. Something changed with power that occurred prior to the issues you all are having.

I have felt for the chanters I raid with because power issues seem to be more prominent over vent during raids. Could it be possible that your issues are coming from a more underlying change to other classes that resulted in a slow and steady increase in a pull on your resources? Kind of like a brown out on electricity? Just a thought and probably one I should have kept in the vault till after my morning coffee, but this struct a nerve with me because my chanter has been getting blamed for my power issues, and that is not correct. My power issues have been slowly creeping up over the last year and have had nothing to with his abilities.

Over the last year, I have mentioned this to several players and it wasn't until recently where these toons that I discuss class issues with have actually brought this back up and have asked me if I ever found out what was causing it, because they are now noticing it too. And we know it's not coming from our much appreciated source of regen!

Rambled enough. You all are awesome. I want a bumber sticker that says Travels witih Chanter!

Thanks for letting me drop in. I am now off to the test server to make sure I start my day off on a good note. <<sarcasm>>
