Is the base damage increase cap 100%? If so, what spell buffs from others give it? I saw it mentioned earlier, was curous if that was indeed accurate.

Yes, base dmg increase cap's at 100%. I don't have a full list of spells for you atm as I'm at work and have limited access. There are temporary class AA buffs that assist.

THe only slot I can see anything really changing is rings, depending on what kind of spell damage you're at.

Right now I'm running forgotten ring of souls and bbod. with around 800ish spell dmg.

Keep in mind though you won't get your 4-piece bonus if you wear the best item for each slot. You only have two of the set pieces as the best, so in my opinion, I'd add:

* Set Shoulders
* Set Gloves

If you have access to all this gear; that would probably be the best compromise. One might argue Set Pants instead, especially after the proc nerf hits. (vs Avatar pants) but w/e.

You'll do more dmg without the 4pc set bonus if you have the best for each slot per the list, but you are entitled to your opinion of course.

Well, lets see. If you have the *best* items in each slot, here is what you have with base damage, which is, why I'm assuming you are picking Tythus Shoulders and Dark Mail over their equivalent Set pieces.

Fixed
15 - INT line
5 - TSO endline (might be 4 for Illys, its 5 for Coercers, IDK)
15 - Disciple Robe
2 - TSO Set Cuffs
12 - Anashti Belt
2 - TSO Set Feet
15 - Avatar Neck
10 - 2 charm set bonus

76 Base Spell Damage

Plus Beam, Brainclot, Drain, Pessimism each have 10 base damage through AA's.

Procs
10 - Disciple Robe
10 - Tythus Shoulders
5 - Dark Mail
15 - Avatar Symbol
10 - Charm Proc

50 Base Damage in Procs

Well, chances are at least 2 or 3 of these will be up at all times, so you'll be at 100% base damage pretty much permanently, and IIRC you can't go over 100%, so the Base Spell Damage bonus in those two items is moot. What else do they have?

Tythus Shoulders
+2 Spell Crit
+2 Spell Crit Bonus
+25 Spell Damge

Dark Mail Gauntlets
+35 Spell Damage
-4 Hostile Reuse

Well,

+2 Adornment ticks > +2 Spell Crit bonus and +60 Spell Damage.

Just my opinion, of course, but I doubt the numbers would lie.
