Is this going to affect both Tandem and Pris adornments?

I'm pretty sure this will kill my hood of dark dealings, but i gues i can live with that.

Just as I said to my guild, Lithin, back to being a buffbot! Well, sorta. Enchanters will likely lose to Summoners on the parses now! Even saying that made my balls shoot up inside and shrank my peen.

This is ridiculous!

Oh wait you have shit-loads of utility and we (summoners) have none... hmm.... lol

I have 80 illy I really enjoy playing as well. But its hard to feel to sorry for you guys getting brought down a bit after being told repeatedly how useless fucking conjurors are when illys with the best raid utility in game out parse us in raids. I have seldem seen this really happen, but the mindset has taken over the end raid game leaving summoner in the cold.

so...

Actually I tend to agree with you. While I won't say summoners have no utility, they have little useful utility. It's funny in late RoK what we missed most about losing our Conj was leash pulling (altho nerfed) and CoH.

For most of TSO we said fuck Summoners and they were an ongoing joke of ours and we still rag on our Necro. The reality is they are not as bad as made out. We picked one up cause we were tired of looking/waiting for a solid Illy.

Summoners utility needs to be retooled. Conj can put up nice ae numbers tho, and Necros can do well on ae's, especially with Ro Charm. Some fights summoner pet classes really shine. Where I get locked down at times w/ bullshit stun/stifle/damage-reduction type damage shields and can't do shit, summoners always have that pet smacking away.

So I agree Summoners need some help vs. Enchanters, but I had really hoped to see a revamp of Summoners similar to the Coercer revamp. Not a fucked up overall nerfing of procs that maybe puts enchanters back in line a bit, putting Summoners ahead (maybe), but still way behind Sorcs.

Anyways, Devs just don't get it. This is a stupid time for a big change. They really should have slipped this shit in next xpack (if at all). If they do it wrong and it fucks raid dps and heals as much as I think, they will have to retool large amounts of current content (that is balanced to current itemization) when their time is better spent getting rid of the god damn lag, fixing current content issues, and making sure new content is not a clusterfuck.

Next xpack I hope the itemization teams pull their heads out of their asses and communicate between Avatar, Raid Instance, and Heroic loot. Fucking it up horribly in RoK was one thing, but doing it again for TSO just makes them look even more like incompetent retards.

They really need to hire (PAY) a group of hardcore people that PLAY the game so they have an idea wtf they are doing and how the changes they suggest will impact the overall game, instead of doing shit to look busy or pretend they have a fuckin clue.

Fix lag in '09

No, their pet has that issue too.

I could have sworn pets were treated differently with some of those types of control effects. Maybe not the reactives, but it seems that pets can't be randomly targeted by detrimentals that are intended for PC's.

Additionally I was probably thinking of aoe immunity some pets get stopping some control effects. A combination of those things and the fact that summoners have 2 entities attacking seperately definitely gives them an edge on certain fights that allows them to bridge the dps gap on those encounters.

Until I get my Bracelet of Dark Energy... if it procs...

Admittedly I cancelled my 80 Conj account and did not really play it much even in RoK and have not read summoner boards in a long time. So other than parse observations of our summoner I can't say with any great detail how game mechanics treat pets in regards to various mob damage shields, aoe's w/ blocker, and randomly placed effects.

I'll have to go check that out, or if anyone knows of a good thread, toss me a link.

In fact they are worse off than us because you can tell when we're screwed, you can't tell when a pet is however.
