I never said enchanters should out dps summoners. I actually did say summoners need to be retooled like coercers were. Obviously enchanters have alot more utility and if classes were balanced would NOT be beating summoners as often as they do.

Most of us enchanters are used to our role atm. When you've had something for years, it's tough going back. This nerf to procs is our first step back towards buffbot. Pardon me, sir, if I don't like that.

High end illusionists in particular will see a larger nerf than other classes due to our machine gun fire of spells and our reliance on procs for badass dps . Certainly summoners will see this nerf also, but less than enchanters due to less casts and pet dps.

Not good for either of us, but summoners will be better off.

You certainly have alot of anger. Maybe you should reroll...

In all honesty, why are people acting like procs are going away entirely, rather than gear procs losing the ability to crit and be modified in other ways?

Peace of Mind? Will still crit.

Group buff procs? Still crit.

Not saying we won't take a hit to DPS, but it is hardly the doom and gloom people are making it out to be.

Anyway, DPS went down definitely, not by huge amounts. Been stocking up data in ACT as much as I can between groups and raid encounters. Switched around a few gear pieces thus far but most of my equipment was already focused towards base damage and crit bonus where I could get it.

So anyway, before my response was deleted for calling Ed Pinski dumb and rude; DPS as a whole has taken a hit yes, but compared to the dip everyone else is taking it's fairly proportionate in relation to us technically being a support class. While I agree a change like this so late in the game is still sketchy, better to get it over with and move on from here.
