i really havent noticed a difference in dps. im still hitting over 10k on trash in palace, ykesha, and 7-8k in tomb.

Hmm go figure my earlier post disappears, then reappears once I mention it. Ah well, not worth the thought. Anyway, either you are not highly proc specced or need to test some more. There is a definite dip in DPS, but I have been swapping out gear already.

Okay not to bash summoners on this thread but I honestly just can't agree with the idea that summoners are useless. I will admit that illusionists are VERY strong in the dps department given their utility but we have 2 conjs in raid that parse well above me and I am usually hanging around 8-9k in palace/YIS. One specifically was in the same group as I was and had the same gear as I did (better in some, worse in others). I think summoners need to forget the idea that they used to be the joke of the raid force during RoK and really take the time to figure out how the class works. Illys were rocking because we figured out we can take advantage of all this proc gear coming out with how many spells we cast. Well now procs are nerfed so its a couple steps back to the drawing board. Figure it out and tell me how it is conjurors in my sub-par guild are parsing well above 10k and all the other summoners can do is cry about their lack of utility.

To answer a question from before, I have noticed an 9% drop rate in my DPS from Greater Void Bane alone (running 5 peices with VB on it - ring, cloak, wristx2, bauble even though its not greater it still improves others). Overall I think I have taken a hit of 22% and we certainly do not spike DPS as high as we used to.
