So how much of a hit did everyone take on their dps? I don't have a palace trash to look at yet, but I'd say I lost 10-20% and I don't have nearly as much proc gear as some illies.

From what i saw on our raid last night, alot of of coer went from 10k to 8k, and our illys took about the same hit. This was on the normal SoH trash clearing.

Not a big enough sample to be conclusive yet, but i'm thinking 20%+

But I have a lot of proc gear and am reexamining my set-up to see if non-procs might be more effective subs now.

Melee didn't get hit nearly as hard by this, not only do they typically use less proc gear, but with the change in CoB to crit off melee crit instead of spell crit a lot of melee dps isn't missing a beat, whereas casters got fucked both times.

All the casters will just have to adjust back to useing spell crit, and spell crit bonus gear, along with cast speed/reuse speed items.

Yeah, makes me wish I hadn't passed on certain things now

by the way, I can't seem to get the expected 5% bonus on hostile spell casting time from the eye-mounted ring. seems not to function. i was experimenting with that as a substitute for the blackened band of devastation....

anyone else seen that prob with that specific item?
