They damage mob, they proc(100% chance) a 24 hate position ability(tested when you could see all that stuff on test), they die, you get their aggro, you die.

Only way to use them is, cast them, mez mob, they back off, wait for them to wear off which will do the memwipe, but gl getting that to work ever.

The best way to handle IG is taking it off your hotbar IMHO. I used to have some faith in it, and died every single time I dared to use it. Silly spell...If they at least proc'd some CC crap on death like construct... No, not even in that case. Get if off your hotbars already.

It can be used to get aggro off of you while soloing, also say if you are in a herioc instance the tank goes down and you're the next on the hate list, it can buy you a few more seconds while healers get the tank up since you're already at the top of the hate list anyway.

its the equivalent of ancestral sentry of the mystic's. it's a cheap master to get too. It wards up to 18k damage. It's not like it freaking memwipes the target. So that's not worth getting to save you tank's ass when his life spiking down and help your healers to get his life back up?
