If it was the equivalent of Ancestral Sentry, then how can you be using it when the tank spikes, because that's not when Ancestral Sentry is used at all. Also, it's casting time is way too long to be used like that.

Yes, 2s for an 'emergency' defensive spell is a long time. Should look at how long it takes to cast a priest emergency.

It knocks down to 1 second with perpetual motion and chronosiphoning on. There are more priest spells that have a longer casting time then that and you can use it like ancestral sentry too. Granted it has a 5 min recast but it still worth using. It one of the better spells out there to get.

They also aren't emergencies. .25s cast for a SvD, instant cast for emergency speciality heals. Doppleganger in it's current form is a total joke and the fact that you act like it's some great spell is hilarious. Sure it's "cheap," but if you're going to being spend plat on the master you're wasting your time unless you have gobs of it available because of how common a drop it is.

It's definitely useful in groups but in a raid its pretty meh.

It's fucking worthless because if you are needed to cast it for the raid to survive you are either

a) Still raiding SotL even though we are in TSO
b) Got worthless healers and need to replace them

Get with the program, it's worthless how ever you twist and turn it.

I'm not twisting and turning it. It has it uses in situations. Whether you use it or not. It's still worth using. It's useless like illusionary group as you guys set it out to be.
