Ah well I haven't really played since April or May but I think I couldn't get used to:
-having to click loot windows again
-my health/power window being separate from the group window, since there were 5 names I'd always want to push F5 for the 6th person on cures, flows, w/e.

It's a good UI, I had just been using profit for years.

If you line things up, you shouldn't be able to tell yourself from not being in the group window.

This! Why make them the same window when you can just take two seconds and line it up however you want. Some people like them with the group window, some people like them away. This allows both people to get what they like, with out having duplicate windows. Ignoring all that, putting the player window into the group window makes it very ridged and does not allow you to resize it. You would need to have multiple window files, (Like ProfitUI does) which I want to stay away from for very obvious reasons.

That wasn't even the main issue, mine was that quite a few things were default when I was used to a lot of other things from Profit. Like I said, I liked the Razc UI but I was too accustomed to a lot of mods inside the Profit package and didn't feel like cherry-picking things out of it to keep a few windows from Razc.

I use profit for nearly all of my ui items only a few things are selected from other peoples. I use the same layout for all my toons and it seems to work rather well for all of them.

Also the big black box next to my hotbars is where my group window shows and the black box hovering over them is the raid window, i generally toggle that open/closed during a raid as i just hate having it open on my screen as it takes up to much space imo.

Ya still have the extra step that the profit quick group/raid buttons do not execute regardless of how ya lineup the hotkeys. Extra steps equate to extra time.

Meh, I come from a mechwarrior generation of keyboard utilization.

#1-6 (primary hotbar)
ctrl+1 thru ctrl+6 (secondary hotbar)
alt+1 thru alt +6 (teritary hotbar)
ctl+alt+1 thru ctl+alt+6 (any hotbar1)
alt+q, alt+w, alt+e, alt+r, alt+t (any hotbar2)
ctl+q, ctl+w, ctl+e, ctl+r, ctl+t (any hotbar3)

Able to quickly hit all the ctrl, alt, and alt+ctrl combos with my palm by just a slight twist in the wrist. That's 34 hotkeys accessed easy and fast with just one hand.

But, meh ... a fella has to be used to it to be fast. It's almost like playing a musical instrument.

No really, what are you talking about? There is no extra step if you line up your self window with the group window.
