Help on gear

I need some advice/recommendations as I have the VP robes and the JW robes to pick from to wear. My main issue is that I am losing 4 spell crit and +100 spell damage to gain +10 ability reuse timer.

Here are my stats please let me know what you think my persona info is as two pictures

10 reuse > 4 crit and 100 sd

You should kill phara dar before trak, he's right there, and get your vp legs and wear both pieces for pa bonus.

*Edit - Scratch that, they no longer will stack in gu 53

VP robe all the way, it's still one of the best robes out there bar the avatar robes (in their current state).

One thing that sux though, is that the PA bonus from tso won't stack anymore with the rok one when the new liveupdate comes out, which will make it a little bit less desirefull.

not really since 2 vp set > 4 tso set

Not really, if you don't have an avatarrobe and you need the crit mit. Most casual raiders will need to equip 4 tso setpeices, cause they often don't have the other gearchoices to make up for the crit mit loss from the tso setgear.

For a hardcore player you're correct, but not for a more casual raider. It all pretty much depends on the current gear you're wearing so it's highly variable.

Although with the next patch and the boost to crit mit on other instance pieces this may not be true anymore. I hope so aas the TSO set stinks without being able to stack the procs.

What is a high enough level for crit mit?

Depends on the mobs you're fighting and if you're stacking healers or not.

Field General and I hate stacking healers! 6 usually , 7 at a push

Tough one, i'd say Field General is mostly about burning the intial adds down asap with crazy aoe, i don't think you need a crazy amount of crit mig gear for that.

But if i have to name one aoe fight, hmmz let's say Ykesha with 6/7 healers (like we do iirc), i'd go to the 60+ range. But that's from instanced content one of the mobs with the tougher aoe's. For most other instanced content you can go by with 40+ imo.

Avatars is another story ofcourse, espescially for tanks.

i did almost the whole exp with around 30 but i usually had a plate or chain healer all the time and was using health potions

as for avatars i did em all with 20> since that we were stacking healers
