Blink, Phase, and Illusory Allies
All of them have a danger factor in their use.
Phase and Illusory Allies could be useful if timed right, but if timed wrong could cause some problems. I suppose Illusory Allies could be used as a last ditch if a tank is about to die or has died, kinda a hail mary and hope for a recovery. Phase if timed right could get a memwiped mob off you or someone else, but in most cases a tank will be timing the wipe to get agro right back. Hmm.. just thought of something for Illusory Allies. In MMIS I typically mezz, then stun, then stifle/daze one of the courtesans while the rest of the raidforce burns down the other then changes to mine. I could follow the stifle/daze up with Illusory Allies and buy more time.
Blink has pretty short range of effectiveness and that 10 meter teleport can cause some problems as well. If you get agro and are standing near and don't go splat and can use it quick it might be of use.
I dunno, they all seem so extremely situational that getting consistant use out of them seems impossible. I like to use all my tricks available tho.
There must be a few creative ways out there to make use of these spells.
So tell me if/when/how you use these spells in a raid setting or even if they are on your hotbar.
Have any tricks up your sleeves?

No u can't, because it will take aggro on the other mobs too, then turn them in all sort of directions, and therfore decrease DPS on then since scouts wont be able to get off back attacks the same. And thats just the best case scenario - more than likely, ur gonna get killed instnatly, making things even worse.
Blink? Name me one raid where adds are close enough that you can't be teleported 10 meters. Honestly. Besides, its only usefulness is if adds pop right on top of you or just instnatly aggro u somehow, this way u can deaggro before u even get hit. Otherwise the tank has em already.
As far as its short range effectiveness, the range is fine. You should be meleeing anyway :p
Phase? Wizard at max casting range pulls aggro right before an AE is about to go off and kill the raid. Tank already burned rescue earlier in the fight.

That's right Illusory is encounter. Yeah, that would be bad.
As far as blink I would be a little worried casting that in dungeons (MMiS and FTH), but I suppose 10 meters is not so far. I rarely worry about agro tho. I do melee, I just don't joust in to melee. The rare situation where I really wanna use blink the range of it is an issue(Wuoshi uses his phase type ability on tank and starts coming for me). It could be useful on mobs like the grovebeast, but honestly i'd go splat in that time it takes for it to turn away. It could help if we wanna use our ae's early in some fights, but it's not like we are warlocks or even need to take a chance.
As far as phase, yeah i've thought about using it like you mention, but the thought of poor timing and hitting it when the tank is targeted scares me a bit.

Before using it on any big mobs, practice a bit on when people take aggro on trash, and accounce in vent or whatever when you do it. After a while your tank will get used to the idea, and stop running after mobs when they peel to a distant caster.
