x2 raid best DPS set up for spells

Okay i been reading the forms and i am still confused what is the best order of spells for DPS for x2 raids (those are the raids that i normal go to the most)

Can someone please tell me in black and white?

Nope. It depends on a number of factors you haven't told us, including reuse bonuses, spell casting speed bonuses, which spells you have mastered, what gear you're wearing, etc. Better yet, you could always post a parse from ACT.

Second, it's not a casting order so much as a priority list -- always cast the highest spell on the list that's ready to be cast. This appears to be the current incarnation of the spell priority list:

Prismatic Adornment
Chromatic Shower
Brainclot(Master)
Ultraviolet Beam
Brainclot(Adp3)
Storm(AE)
Lesion
Drain Consciousness(Master)
Pessimism
Drain Consciousness(Adp3)
Storm(Single)

I don't see why your casting order/priority list would be any different from a regular x4 raid.

I don't think that the fact of a place being x2 or xN would itself affect the order in which your spells should be cast. There are a number of factors to keep in mind, but this is not one of them IMHO. Once you realize the role you play in your group/raid, the answer to this question will be easy to guess. Until you understand the difference, you should adhere to the rotations posted all over this forum. In particular, the one posted by Pinski back in EoF is a good starting point, though it obviously depends on your gear and environment.

Like calaglin said: If you don't change it up you are ignorant. Fighting mobs for 10 seconds and for 30 seconds is two completely different things. the cast order needs to get changed to pump out the same dps.
