As far as Prismatic Adornment how do you get it going on 2 people when the reuse timer and the spell timer are the same?

Unless you are close to VP geared don't even bother doing melee on a mob with AE's. Most likely you will be in a mage group with a Fury that is DPS'n too and you will just piss them off making them heal you all the time. I am not saying don't try just don't go out of your way to make it happen if it makes your casting dps suffer.

12.5s recast, 16.5s duration(harmonization spec'd troub obv). Doesn't give much time, but it gives some.

Actually, the reuse timer and the buff itself are not quite the same. The buff will still be up for a bit longer than the re-use timer when you have your increased re-use timers via gear/AA.

Already answered, but i want to add that you'll get your hands on gear that will shorten your reuse time and like that with perfect timing you can get in 2 pa's in at the same time. Just be sure to put it on the MT (he goes in first, and a good second choice is a brigand, they tend to run in quite fast aswell to get those debuffs going. Macro's ftw for this purpose.

Well, with your mythical you loose out on quite some dps if you're not going into melee. Hell sometimes i just stay in range and eat aoe's (depending which ones ofcourse) to keep my dps max-ed.
But that's ofcourse with like 8.5K hp selfbuffed and dispersiongear so that's not good advice for everybody.

About the healers. I mean, a healer that's worth something will have no issues with it. Just get dispersion gear on you and if you don't eat ripostes you're most of the time ok. It does need some good gear with a nice amount of hp but if i die it's mostly due to pulling aggro or eating a riposte from being to eager to melee asap, while the mob hasn't been turned properly yet.

oh sweet vortex is up, lifeburn is down.. mob's positioning is good.. that might be a good parse.. ! NOPE, fucking mage runs in and eat a trauma ae from a wurm or a riposte at the start and fuck everything up..

Considering only the Sentries have a group-based AE that does 0 damage, whereas the Wurms have a frontal, as do the Raptors, and then the Golems have a full AE, it has nothing to do with having aggro.

I am just now getting past Teir 2 in RoK so I am a bit behind the curve on this part of the discussion. I recently joined a VP flagged guild so this is good info for me as I do have the Str based AA spec on my AA Mirror. What kinda of melee dps are you all achieving? Thus far I have not passed 600 dps with melee and I use my Fabled Epic.

Easiest zone to do a quick lookup is cod so i quickly checked my latest parse on cod:

500 melee dps out of a 7.1K zw on cod-trash.
