Hiya guys,

I'm here to ask a few questions as I've just created a lil' illusionist alt.
Most of my questions are more based around AA's.

I'm locking my XP and just leveling him up on quest XP to keep my AA's along with my levels
(Won't be playing him often unless I REALLY enjoy him),
and will be mainly solo for those harder quests my inquisitor couldn't solo :P.

What KoS AA's would you think would benefit a solo illusionist?

I've been looking at them and the only things I can even remotely see would help are the INT line for the extra DPS (possibly)
Or the AGI line for faster cast speeds.

(As for the EOF line I'm going for Illusionary Arm and Time Compression for those times when I do actually group.
+ In solo situations time compression will help with DPS and controlling aggro.

If I said anything wrong be more than welcome to point it out and flame me about it, I'm pretty new at this Illusionist stuff

time comp is not self castable, good for pet tho

agi \ int are the only 2 paths to go~ even solo\raid
the IA \ TC line are very beneficial for self dps too, the others paths don't really do jack all for solo.

if you got the extra cash, try and ad3 out your beam spell \ stuns imo will help a lot for solo, beam is castable a lot so its nice to have.

if you aren't planning on getting all your spells adept 3 and master as you level (though i dont see why not), consider putting a few points into mezzes in the EoF tree

Oh, masters are no problem. I've already got pretty much every spell ad3 - master level 1-40. And he's only level 16.
Alright Thanks for the help folks. And thanks, I wish TC was castable on myself though, I cast like a mother fucker and that would just help so much more lol.

Ya I'd have to agree AGI/INT AGI 4/8/8/3/Perpetuality and INT 6/4/4/8/Volatile Magic is really the only way to go if you want to have DPS worth a shit.

I solo almost exclusively these days and most of my leveling from 1 to 70 was either solo or duo. I use the standard "raid" AAs since I can't see there being anything better. I can solo pretty much anything that's required by any quest so they obviously work.

If you pick STR I'll vomit, even if it is viable. It's the principle of the matter.

although if you are soloing and using the stun/chaos yourself/mez repeat method perp is useless because you wont be chain casting anything. so really if you had a 2H weapon and str line you could do more melee dmg in the stun period then if you went for perp.
