So, before the patch, i LOVED how perpetuality worked. If lag happened or I missed a spell or it got resisted or whatever, it would only knock it down 12% to 48%, and i could build it back to max fairly easily. Now what happens is if u dont pick a fast spell or one isnt up exactly or you get resisted, you go back down to 0% haste from perpetuality. I think this is so horrible, mainly because i cant keep perpet up 80% of the time because of lag.

Is this as intended or a bug caused by the icon switch from 5 to 1 icon? Not only were we nerfed on chronisiphon, but i find it 10x harder to keep perpet going good, if at all.

Anyone have any ideas on how to set up spec to make the most of this after the patch? should more points go into chrono now? or the perm haste aa? I don't know, just kind of frustrated at this.

Well lets be honest, they were a little overpowered don't you think? Also, it seems your biggest problem is your internet connection, not the spell.

New AGI set up is 4,4,8,7,1 btw.

well im not just talking lag tho.. but the buff completely dropping after not being able to get a spell off or whatever is retarded. cause the only way to keep it going is fast casting spells, especially if u dont have it up already to cast your longer casting spells..

i do admit i had a tiny bit more lag then usual tonight.. and the buff would drop even though i queue up spells that should keep perpet going. so what i see on the client isnt what the server sees.

the whole thing with it going down notches instead of dropping completely helped the whole online ping/lag problem.

STR is the new AGI in my opinion, calaglin respeced to STR & INT. Hes did 3k zone wide in emerald halls last week with that build.

I have to agree with the OP. This is a really annoying change. My connection is great but I can't control the server-side lag. Last night in MMIS with another guild raiding at the same time we were it was virtually impossible to keep it up. All it's done for me is create an ongoing frustration with SoE's inability to reduce lag - which I'm now reminded of about once a minute instead of a few times per zone.

Oh no, Perpetuality isn't a completely overpowered AA anymore. They balanced it. End of story.

It still owns, when there's less lag than usual, but it gets annoying but *meh*, it balances us a bit more with other DPS classes again.

if perp drops to 0 again, throw a group buff and away you go, hardly the end of the world.
