ROK Epic - What do you want?
From this post:

Not sure what I would do for illusionists. Maybe something to bring mezzing back, like a mez that wipes dots lol! I'm new to the illusionist, tho, and am curious what long time players think for the new Epic weapon in ROK.

It needs to be a DPS weapon that's better than Plasma Wand, to start. Plasma Wand is so ridiculously overpowered that it'll still be great even in T8 unless they make something even higher. 1 Hander obviously. High STA, high INT, high power/HP, +disruption and subjugation, possibly a reuse timer buff on the end weapon.
Perhaps something like this?
Illusionist's Staff of Illusory Fun
Fabled Lore No-Trade
+35 STA +35 INT
+175 Health +250 Power
+10 disruption +10 subjugation
Mental Focus
Need for Speed
Staff
One-Handed Crushing
Damage 50-175 (112.5 Rating)
Delay 2.0 sec
Weight 2.0
Level 80
Illusionist
When target casts a spell this spell has a chance to cast Mental Boost on caster. Lasts for 15.0 seconds. This effect will trigger an average of 2.0 times/minute. - Increases damage of all mental spells by 13%
- Resistability of mental-based spells is decreased by 40%
When target casts a hostile spell this spell has a chance to cast Need for Speed on caster. Lasts for 10.0 seconds. This effect will trigger an average of 1.8 times/minute. - Reduces recast timers of all spells by 15%

I'd hit it.
Int would probably be a bit higher though.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, to be honest.
The only thing is... INT's not really that important, we'll get plenty off the rest of our RoK gear where we'll be at diminishing returns even without the Epic.

Re: ROK Epic - What do you want?
I wasn't saying int was important, I'm saying a level 80 class epic would have more than 35 Int.

Re: ROK Epic - What do you want?
Obviously the Epic needs to be Enchanter-like, so it's gotta be something designed for an enchanter. Which means, damage isn't a big point, the real important thing is going to be something to do with controlling mobs in some form. Whether that means letting us ignore immunity timers and increase our control effect durations, or something like that, it needs to be done.
Make a clicky that does that, and you will have every enchanter wanting one because it'll be insanely useful and powerful for everybody. Of course, obviously it should have some damage proc, and shit like that. But the real deal is control effects related. Something needs to be done there to make it so that enchanters are enchanters, not just sorcerers with buffs.

As much as I'd like for that to happen.... we'd be rather overpowered if they did something like that. If you can think of a 3rd proc that wouldn't be overpowered to add to the weapon... hehe
