Re: The Inquisitor, a non Inquisitors guide. (draft and drawing board)
Dark, if you haven't already, get ACT and the mod which makes a "ding" sound when your auto attack goes off. You'll find that fifty percent or more of your DPS is due to auto attack (crush), so you want to make sure that's hitting as much as possible... and when you're casting a spell or CA, it overrides your auto attack... so you wanna make sure you time your CA's/spells, etc. If it'll be a long fight with a raid trash mob, I'll hit them first with a CA, cast condemned, auto attack dings, another debuff/spell, ding, CA, ding, CA, ding, CA, ding, repeat. You might wanna save Litany Circle for when you see the next trash mob coming in so you can catch it on the AE. I use a high delay weapon, Bonecrusher (pawbuster drop)... other good weapons are mallet of the twins (korsha raid zone), the nexona staff, and now the mallet from the Thex HQ. Of these, I think (and most agree i think), that BC is the best weapon for straight DPS.
I've also found that having a macro to switch between BC and mythical is great because if you're coasting along DPSing... and then all the sudden your group goes down to red from an AE or something... you can switch (in combat) to mythical with that macro instantly almost before casting a group heal... which will increase the cast speed of the heal by 15 percent plus add all the other good heal stuff. Once your group is green (if it's not dire situation, remember to time your heals with your auto attack even witht he mythical), switch back to bonecrusher. When you get used to this, it'll become second nature to you.
I've found that this method allows me to parse 5.5k zw in palace for instance while still solo healing a group of chokers (on trash).
Of course on names you'll want to go full heal almost. By that i mean that i have GEAR MACROS as well... to switch from DPS gear to full healing gear instantly. They come in handy.

Casting order? We don't have enough things to cast for it to matter, or things that are really dependent on each other - although it depends on the fight.
For short fights, just make sure you're getting off the stuff that hits hardest - Invocation Strike, Litany Circle, Strike of Flames (or whatever it's called), then Writhing Strike and the Corruption one very last.
For longer fights, make sure you get up Condemned, cycle through your CA's, and just mash the buttons as they pop up.
Also, if you're not using Litany Circle (when it's safe) in your normal CA cycle, then you're missing out on some DPS. At 5 points, it hits harder than most (all?) of the other CA's, and the cast time is short enough to not interfere with autoattack swings.
The biggest thing if you want to DPS as an Inquisitor is to spec and gear yourself for DPS. If you half-ass your spec and/or gear, you'll do half-ass DPS. Have a kit and spec for healing, but don't expect to wow people with your DPS if you're not set up for it. There no trick to it, other than changing your mindset when choosing AA's and gear.

Seems a good bit of this is outdated / not updates with TSO.
Curious what aa builds are being used for strict self melee dps / dps group use?

One you will be able to look at for many hours.
Seriously: It doesn't really matter which race you choose.

Gender is more important than race, as you will be looking at the butt of your toon for a long time. Make sure it's pretty.

Man can I agree with this statement. After about 5 years of looking at my male barbs backside, I wish I had made a different race, or even gender, lol.

Re: The Inquisitor, a non Inquisitors guide. (draft and drawing board)
Does anyone know what the +Damage Per Second cap and the +Attack Speed cap is on inquisitors? I have easily gotten 100% melee crit and 100% Double Attack so I am looking to load up on these other stats.

The cap for all classes is 200, which grants an actual percent bonus of 125% (it's on a diminishing returns curve).
