Default Inquisitor raid progression?

Howdy folks, and thanks in advance for your time!

As a relatively neophyte Inquisitor (just now approaching the big 7-0), I am wondering a couple of things:

First and foremost, what pre-EoF raid progression should I be working on as I hit 70? What gear drops should I be on the lookout for? That kinda thing.

Secondarily (and off the printed topic, but eh, it's my thread ), something I've long wondered is what stat gives heals more punch? INT? WIS? Nothing? Eh, I'm just now getting into the technical side of the game, having played to cap somewhat casually. Now that I'm starting to get interested in more of the nuts and bolts of the system, I find myself wondering how to eke out every single jot and tittle of healing and dps.

Thanks again for any advice offered!

I don't want to be an ass or nothing but there are a myriad of threads already in this section that cover all those bases. I realize your new to being a 70 inquisitor, and welcome to the ranks, but part of being a good inquisitor is doing the research and learning what you need to do and aquire. To be perfectly honest any upgrade is a good upgrade. Some things will be better than others but half the fun is not having all the answers just handed to you, that breeds lazy players, and being lazy is not the strong suit of an inquisitor.

Spend a little time and read through some of these threads here, 95% are a wealth of knowledge for anyone, especially a new inquisitor. If I seem calous I am sorry, its not intended to be that way. Take an hour or 2 and go through this section and look at what the other top end inquisitors here have already posted and your answers will reveal themselves.

If your still not satisfied, post here again and I will try to outline the "basics" but I don't want to hand hold anyone in this section because I feel players who control inquisitors are some of the more formidable thinkers on these boards. I am sorry if I haven't given you the desired easy answer you seek but they are here. Good Luck

No assi-ness was percieved in your response, and thanks for taking the time to reply.

I have found thread upon thread upon thread of EoF progression, and I have devoured that information wholesale. What I was asking, more precicely, however, was for information on pre-EoF gearing (or if it's even worthwhile).

While exploration is 9/10ths of why I play this game (read: am addicted to this game), I do find a pointer here and there to be helpful.

Apologies if I came across as lazy or just unwilling to do the research. I neither need nor want my hand held through the current iteration of the end-game. Most of the fun is dying in horrible horrible ways while learning new strategies to take down named #9941. OK, maybe not dying per-se, but it's not EverQuest unless you're dying in strange places in terrible ways.

As for the general whiny tone of my first post, I blame beer, the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.

At the end, I guess my question is, should I spend time running in KoS raids getting fabled gear to do EoF content, or will legendary gear (such as the Nem Ankh set) suffice until I get EoF raid drops?

There's plenty of nice KoS raid loot, but EoF Legendary should do fine. If you find you're stuck doing KoS raids for some reason, try to finish MoA, DT Access, and the Claymore line since those rewards will compliment the Nem Ankh set while KoS Fabled armor probably wouldn't be worth giving up the Nem Ankh set bonus.

I've gotten burnt out on SoS, so not finished Claymore. Is there any decent inq gear on that questline? I have MoA and DT already and my gear is decent. I'm just wondering if there's any must-have stuff from finishing Claymore or even SoD?

That's the kind of information I was looking for, precicely. Thank you very much or the input!

One of the reasons this site is my first stop for information is the total lack of idiot fanbois touting the usefulness of fabled Miragul's Menagerie armour, since SOE can never ever make a mistake

You folks are honest, often brutally so. I thank the first respondant, Stoic, for his encouragement to seek my own path, as well. A kick in the pants is often the best cure.

Regards!

Hell I found I've been getting better results performance wise swapping into a 6 piece legendary set bonus than using my chaplain's and other fabled armor for straight healing.

The only downside is having less hitpoints, resists and additional effects.

If I can ever get a skullcap I don't think I'll take the legendary off for straight healing purposes.

For DPSing/Trash purposes I can't beat the hodge podge of fabled/legendary stuff I run with normally with the legendary set though.
