I also went down the Sta & Agi lines. I have no actual stats but have just noticed the difference in the amount of damage the OT I sometimes am required to heal takes when it is on as opposed to times that it is not placed on him. I find Holy shield EXTREAMLY important in some fights especially when there is power drain involved. If you can listen for incoming ae calls and get it up before the ae hits, it can make all the difference in the world.

I have seen Leorra jack his avoidance up around 35%, ~16% of which is uncontested block and that is not including his 4% uncontested parry from adornments.

60% chance to avoid 35% boils down to somewhere around 20% extra avoidance for the tank, ~10% of which would be uncontested.

My "Balanced" gear set up for pretty much any avatar.

Shield ally is teh freaking win for a tank grp inquis.

Holy shield is also very highly effctive.

You can cast it on your self to avoid nasty aes that used in combination with fervant focus can prety much block any stun lock type aes.

You can cast it on the OT so he can pick up adds w/o fear of stupid shit like paralysis.

You can cast it on a melee dps so they can stay in the fight and increae raid dps.

Its pretty much the most versatile spec for our class dps/utility/healing.

However if I was a dps grp inquis Im not sre I would run this spec.....I would have to test it out, and see.

As of right now unless the raids in RoK are drasticly different from EoF I will be going down the int line for faster casting speed increase.

4-4-4-8 Int line

I switch in different weapons to increase dps or healing/power according to whats needed at the moment.

like "mister X as used your shied ally and dodged the attack from Y "

I dont have anything besides my OT going HOLY SHIT you block so much dmg for me.

Ill get in the MT grp for the next avatar, and get someone with more ACT skills then me to help me set up the parser. I think the MT grp would be a more reliable grp to test than OT since MT is always tanking dmg.

Heh, I'll see if I can get it to record the lines for you to see how many times you do it.

It says when it does it:

Or something very similar.

So (yeah i seems so noobish when i ask that) WE have the message, not the target ? mhmhmhmhh i m gonna have to log the fights then.

Tho, last nite our MT said he was felling the difference with shield ally.
(and i wasnt using a shield at all lol , just a 2 hand to dps :p )

ACT has a nice little tool for this. Get a zone parse, right click on the tank's name and go to Avoidance Report. It'll show you plenty of useful statistics.
