Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
Hell my crits are 100% so maybe its just you!
Just kidding.(except the last two orange mobs I fought I didn't miss a crit once on)
But yeah, you only missed 2, two, crits on an entire named, so its really random and very small chance to miss one.
S following that kind of scaling you would need on the order of 125-130% crit to have a guaranteed 100% at the rate those parses showed.

Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
Everyone is comparing our 3 piece set bonus to EoF temp gear. Yes they got more there, but look at their bonuses in RoK. They only get a bonus of 3 triggers to their group reactive at 7 pieces.
Myself I'd much rather have 2 triggers to my single than what they are getting, and we get it at 3 rather than 7.

Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
Still, they get a very nice 3 piece bonus, and I don't think anyone will be equipping this whole set unless the 7 piece bonus was great (and it's not). So pretty much only the first 2 bonuses are the attention getters.
Also some Templars have been playing around using the previous 3 piece set bonus, with such a low rise on heal per reactive, it makes sense to keep using they extra 4 reactives. So they can go for both of their 3 piece bonuses. In our case it wouldn't work.

Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
What a shitty group of master 2 choices though, jesus, might as well toss in the option to increase my strength permanently by 5, id take that instead. Other than that though im happy.

That makes sense, then.
Well, no, actually it's nonintuitive as hell, but now I get what you were saying. I'd think a higher level mob would only affect hits or misses, not your 100% crit rating.
That's like saying the drink you have equipped that does 90 power per tick will only do 50 power per tick if you fought an orange mob recently. Gah!
Thanks for the clarification.

Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
All master 2 selections suck, i don't know what the devs had in mind with this expansion. Dirges have to buffs for M2, no healer has heals as M2 options.

Re: NDA lifted, ROK INQ gear
Hrm, and here comes RoK...
- Stats on our new class armor does not exactly represent a whole new 10 levels. I guess they did not want to go too big too early, but still, some of the current gear is better. That is not good.
- Enhance: Fanaticism(Devotion) is still bugged? I am not inspired with confidence if SoE can not fix a bugged class defining ability, that has recieved countless feedback, petition and bug reports, spanning over a year now. I would love to hear their excuse.
- Inquisition looks kinda cool. It sounds like all healers are getting some badass abilities with RoK. But if we do not get credit for heals done via Inquisition, we get shafted on the heal parse and are blowing thousands of power to use it, especially if we have to deal with a broken E:Fanaticism/Devotion. I know it does not make the skill any less useful in terms of what it actually does, but abilities that do not parse, do not give us an accurate reflection of what we are contributing to a raid.
I was not expecting a world full of uber upgrades, with content provided fresh off the blocks in RoK, but I was hoping for a bit of love regarding E:Fanaticism and something on the healing front. We're sort of there, but I am not seeing a lot of inspiration for getting 80 as fast as humanly possible for the new stuff. The armor could have been a touch better, but I am sure better options will come later in Tier8.

Its stupid as hell IMO but I was just sitting there timing ca's one night when I noticed my hit didnt crit, then it did it again. I was like wtf started talking to people and found out it scales upward and downwards from what I hear.
