Default Heal proc items - beauty or beast

Hello all,

As soon as ROK came out all of us were hammering away at the quests to get ourselves to 80. Alot of drops had heal procs associated with them such as "overloaded heal" where 1.8 minutes for example it would send off a group heal. Our MT group Defiler and Templar were raving about these things being the best thing since sliced bread. They now have leather and chain gear all over the place. They are also right they have added about 20% to their Heals per sec with those additions.

So on our T8 raid last night I decided to try out the gear for myself and setup a macro to switch between my old fabled gear (mostly EOF class gear) and my old fabled gear with as many of these procs as possible.

The Templar and Defiler in the MT group were indeed parsing their highest HPs of all time. Me in the scout group found that I lost about 100 HPS with the procs gear than my old setup. Tests were all on similar mobs with the same levels of healage (not identical obviously). The only thing I can think of is the replacement of a +40 heal adorn is responcible.

Any insight?

Thanks

Enopia

I have been rocking the Overloaded heal procs, five of them to be precise, and all I can say is wow.

My highest so far was 650hps for a 4min40sec-ish long fight.

This was with a mystic in group and my tank not MTing.

I was getting the best used out of it with timing my group heal for right before the AE went off, so as I was casting the mob's AE goes off, and then my heal goes off triggering at a minimum three of my five items.

This was all done with previous tier heals, didn't bother to upgrade till 80.

I was breaking 1khps solo healing a scout grp on trash mobs with ae's

I wear 3 overloaded heal items and it was 15% of my total heals....

So Im gonna call them Beuaty and The Beast.

Cause they are beautiful and make me a BEAST RAWR!

Also dont forget

You can use any level heal. So your lower level group heals will proc it for the group and cost you alot less (the first group heal costs me like 87)

For shits and giggles, go use your 4 power single use heal with 5 pieces of gear on and watch the spam ;)
