Default A very bored Frain doing worthless equations

So, i decided to make an equation out of Verdict where the Effect of verdict depents on the total length of the fight.
If you ever wonder about how much you actualy do with verdict, this should give you a somewhat exact number. Now i know that V isn't constant, that it's accelerating at the bigining of the fight due do the mob beind debuffed, but since verdict only effects longer fights, this shouldn't do much of a difference.

T=the time verdict removes from the fight.
C=verdictconstant (0.02 for epic mobs, 0.1 for heroic and 0.25 for soloable)
Ttot = the total lenght of the fight
V=%/s How many % the mob goes down per second
E(Ttot)=the effect of verdict counted in %
This requires that V is constant and that you cast verdict exactly when the mob hits C

If you dont want to read through the whole equation this is the solution i reached:
E(Ttot)=(100CxZ-150)/Z Z=Ttot
To get the total damage verdict did, simply take E x the total hp of the mob.

T/C+1.5/C=Ttot (The time for verdict to cast + the time verdict removes from the fight)/(how big part of the whole fight this is (for epic mob 2%)= the full time of the fight.
T=(Ttot-1.5/C)xC=TtotxC-1.5
%tot/Ttot=V(%/s) V(%/s) is expected to be constant throughout the fight, atleast until an acceleration equation has been done
E(T)=TxV
E(Ttot)=TxV=(TtotC-1.5)x(100/Ttot)=(Ttot100C-150)/Ttot

Example:
E(Ttot)=(2Z-150)/Z
E(75)=0 If a fight is 75sec or shorter, verdict will have no effect on an epic mob.
When Ttot=75seconds the effect of verdict is = 0. If you raise Ttot the effect of verdict will raise and go towards Cx100 seconds but the effect of verdict can never = Cx100
When Ttot>eternety, %(Ttot)>2

Wouldn't this also be assuming that you aren't timing the cast of verdict to hit right as the mob's health is about to cross into the 2% range?

no he is asuming that verdict goes off at the 2% mark, but verdict has a 1.5s cast time befor it goes off. That is what he is taking in acount.

on epic mobs if a mob dies befor 75sec this means dps is higher then 2% per 1.5 sec so verdict is useless.

1 thing this equation isnt taking in acounst is that ppl are nuking more at the end so the time for a fight befor verdict is usefull should go up.

nice post btw

Well yeah, you never realy get the exact number=(
I dont know if there is any way to see for example the %/s for the last 5 sec for example (or dps/total health). I there is, i could probably make an equation where you use those numbers instead, to get a more exact number, just have to be very bored first (so basicaly any time while fighting against Milyex Vioren i guess)

Yeah, you can also say that C is the prosentage where you cast verdict (that means that you click the actual spell). So if you slack a bit on an epic mob C would be more like 0.018 or something like that.

I'll probably use this equation after some silverwing fight so i can show of just how ubor we are!

I'm such a noob.
V=%/t
%=1, not 100! <smacks self>
Just noted that i coudnl't edit the post. More noobmark on me... aw well.

The equation should therefor be:
E(Ttot)=(CxZ-150)/Z

I tried out the equation the other day and the numbers i gor was 113k damage against hoshkar in VP (a good fight to do the calculations from since it's pritty much a straight burn fight (although most of it is ranged)
