Lets not be too hasty. Now I don't post here much because I happen to think of myself as PRIEST first and DPS second, not the other way round as some do, and my priority is on priest gear first over everything else. Yes I run a (very poor compared to some) DPS gear setup and "scout" group has been without a dirge since RoK came out. Anyway back to the main point in hand.

In it's own right, standing alone, that Mythical weapon blows away everything else in the game that an Inquisitor can get their hands on. When you compare it to other priests mythicals, it's early days but I think we have a fair deal.

It's too early to start saying this item sucks. You can conjecture all your like, but from a progression standpoint, these are THE items required to start to make progress on Trakannon, The Tangrin and Avatars. No-one knows all the avatar abilities. No-one knows how each Mythical weapon will interact with group make ups on raids in turning seemingly impossible encounters into hard, but do-able ones. How do you know that Bertoxx, 7th Hammer and Karana don't ALL daze AND stifle? You don't (and just for Mischief alone I'm happy as hell with the effect)

Once the next 2 weeks are over and most of the high end guilds across all servers have their force with epics and start to throw themselves at Trak and the monkey, once we see the avatars with their higher level cap and new effects. Once we see record parse numbers (both DPS and Healing), THEN maybe we can start to work on a list of provable reasons why certain aspects of our epic (and class) may need tweaking to ensure we don't become obsolete because suddenly Mystic + Illusionist is more DPS and healing for a group than Inquisitor + Illusionist.

But until that time, be happy you're progressing towards (or already have) an item tagged as Mythical with some awesome effects on it.

I coulda even gone with the damn hp dps group buff... fuck it.. something that i can use in a raid.. but really everything else that weapon brings me i can either do better with a different weapon or be just fine without it...

i would assume that you have the staff from avatars of the previous tier... given your guild and all... If you dont ask one of your healers to link it for you even that stick is better then this epic...

Ok, lets say you are right Mestrel, and our mythical is super usefull on a few encounters.
Well even if that's the case, it's still less than usefull on just about all other encounters.

Compare that to how all other mythicals are usefull on all encounters all the time for one reason or another, ours still blows.

The healing proc needs work to say the least, and that's the best thing i can say about this weapon.

By looking at the weapon, it really looks like a pvp weapon and not a pve one.

Group daze/stiffle immune - not many raid encounters use these but they are common in pvp
Damage on fighters and off others - people try to target the non-fighters first, so it is useful
'Double' heal chance - useful in pve and pvp, would be much better if they lowered it to a 25% or 20% chance with the actual heal spell being cast again.

I think that 1/3 heal proc @ 50 percent is kind of nice....of course that's a guess we don't know how broken it is right now. Only like 2-3 inquisitors out there know this. On paper it's decent though.

What we are complaining about is the other shit, that is pointless.

Your epic weapon should not have 1 good proc, and 2-3 crappy ones. All procs on a epic are suppose to be EPIC, and for the most case on other classes weapons that is what they GOT. Inquisitors gets 1 good proc for raids and that is IT. the AoE immunity and the 10 min recast clicky are crap.

Now who knows maybe th e 50 percent proc is SOOO overpowered it makes up for it.... i doubt it. Could defiantly be wrong here though.

I'm thinking that 2 second delay on the heal proc is going to be the major limiting factor on it's usefullness.

2 seconds is a long time, and add to that the the casting time of the heal to begin with (1.6 to 2.5 roughly) and you are looking at between 3.6 and 4.5 seconds after the target has taken damage initally before that prock even goes off.

Most of the time there SHOULD not be much healing left do do after that amount of time, unless it's an oh shit kinda situation.

It's one of those i'd realy need to see the parses kinda things right now, but as it stands, it's not looking all that good.

And what makes me even more said are the fanboys on the official forums who either love the weapon, or are other classes and think our mythical is all that and a bag of chips.

Thank god the Dev's actually read posts on this site, taking them into consideration would be nice of them too.
