might want to add:

You have to examine (not read) the scroll that you get when you get the Epic.

Examining it gives you the quest for the mythical.

When did they dumb down Xass? I just finished my epic last night and was looking forward to the last fight only to be disappointed with an 80 single up :/

Ages back, because too many nub Inqs spent more time crying than trying.

The mob was never impossible, far from it. Now it's an auto-update that dies when you look at it.
