Re: Epic Quest info (Sticky?)
Yeah he is wimp now. Did it today with my Inq.
step 6/7
Also can confirm that the update in Chardok dropped from other Caroeth sarnaks than battlemages and battlepriests. Dropped pretty quick.
For the Chelsith part. I did the first instance run on an evening and continued next afternoon. When I got to the step to do Chelsith again for the tablets I zoned into the empty instance, got the 4 tablets, zoned out, reset timer, entered fresh instance and got 5th update from the tablet close to entrance. No waiting time.
Little addition to " A Mysterious Black Tome" collection. On wiki it only said collect pages to learn Sathirian. You have to collect them, talk to NPC, kill 12 cockatrice for him to make him teach you the basics of Sathirian. When you have killed the mobs and talk to him again you will speak Sathirian.
to step 13:
I did that one together with another Inq m8. She had the whole map blinking with orange dots all over the place, while I didn't see any. Both having eq2map and updated and all. So doesn't seem like everyone is seeing those. She also said all of the slaves had books over the heads like quest NPCs. Didnt have on my screen either and I could see on other quest NPC's, so wasnt the settings or something.
to step 14:
Yes, timed the respawn and it's 10 minutes. L&L is like it has been said Drolvarg and is a clicky wooden chest under the bed. The thingy on the table is for another quest.
to step 15:
Dunno how many others never started a char in TD and been running around there, but I have been running around looking for sarnaks for a while until I found them, so thought I would share that its the lvl 70 guards in Gorowyn that you can and need to kill. They dont seem to be social. You can single pull the ones that stand right next to each other without both aggroing.
to step 18:
As it already has been said as well the mob is lvl 80 ^ now and by no means hard anymore.

The mob was never impossible, far from it. Now it's an auto-update that dies when you look at it.

This is a true statement. I went in and looked at weaponsmith and he died right there. Heh, not quite but was painfully easy. i coulda auto attacked and left the room and i woulda won.

theoretically you can also zone into a fresh instance, click the first tablet, zone out (without killing anything youll get a new zone upon next entry), zone in, click first tabled , repeat

True, if you are not still locked from the Chelsith step before that is probably the quickest way to do it. Anything is better than sitting in an empty Chelsith instance, starring at the tablet for an hour until it respawns...hehe

There is a 5th tablet, for those that still do not know:
Under the blue baron. But you might need to clear the octopuses around it. ;)

Yeah, it's under water just off to the right of the path where you find the 3rd tablet. I just jumped down when the octopuses were down the stretch a little bit and harvested before they returned. At that point you can invis, or if it's your last tablet just take a death and be done with it.
