Just posting this from eq2.wikia, figured it would be alot helpful instead of the three or so threads based on the epic quest.


Starting:
Quest starter Defaced Leaflet drops off named Yha-lei inside Chelsith and off of Yha-lei along the coast in Jarsath Wastes. Will drop in an Ornate chest. Examine quest starter to receive the quest Defender of the Faith.
NOTE: As with all of the Epic Weapon quests, you cannot start the quest until you are a Level 80 Inquisitor. Also you will need to speak Goblish for the 4th step.

Defender of the Faith

1. Head to Teren's Grasp in Kylong Plains and speak with Isa Fernandi ( 2015, 487, -694 ) in the Hall of Conviction.
2. Now you must speak with JP Poggleboddy ( 1766, 483, -1020 ) inside the Stealth and Skulldaggery in Teren's Grasp, Kylong Plains.
   • He gives you a Rock Disassembler.
3. From here you head out to Jarsath Wastes and speak to the Yha-Lei fishman named Yothe K'lohgk ( 630, -48, 1275 ) (out on the rock near Chelsith and same NPC as Leviacide quest line).
   • He will send you to recover 5 rotten fish barrels to feed the Leviathan. They are small harvestable buckets located right where the river meets the ocean and do respawn.
4. Head to Chelsith and speak with Uguaz Tysk ( -9, 5, 398 ) at the beginning of the zone. (You need to speak Goblish.)
   • You must destroy 4 idols. These idols are found at the Upper Tier Named random spawn areas (statues of Frogs etc...).
     • Idol of Leviathan
     • Idol of Dominion
     • Idol of Sustenance
     • Idol of Exaltation
5. Place the 5 rotten fish barrels around the Feeding Chamber (the first ring pool to the left when entering Chelsith).
6. Kill Mucus of the Deep One.
7. Return to Isa Fernandi ( 2015, 487, -694 ) to complete this part of the quest

The Saga of Yasva V'Alear

1. Head to Outer Sebilis in Kunzar Jungle and to talk to Loremaster Hax( -366, -111, 1049 ) (make sure you speak Sathirian.)
   • Sathirian language can be obtained from Kunark: A Mysterious Black Tome quest line.
   1. Talk to 8 Sebilisian residents. Just target and hail to begin your conversation.
   2. Return to Loremaster Hax( -366, -111, 1049 ).
2. Kill Undead in Jarsath Wastes at Venril's Crown until you get an Ornate Chest containing an Officer's Report.
   • Examine the Officer's Report.
3. Go to Stonehoof Badlands and hail the skeleton of Yasva V'Alear( -331, -61, -503 ) .(You can find him on the last ruins near the Fort)
   • Kill the skeleton of Yasva (81-85^^ Heroic - pretty tough). Approximately 20 minute respawn.
4. Harvest the Mace Hilt from a Drake Nest in Skyfire Mountains at ( -1524, 226, 497 ) .
5. Speak to Weaponsmith Xass( 6, -3, 29 ) in Scale Yard off of Freeport.
   • Pay 5p to bring him out of retirement.
6. I should search for the first missing flail head inside Chardok drops off of a Caroeth battlemage, a Caroeth battlepriest or an enchanted barricade in an Ornate Chest. (They are around the red portal. Some in front and more after it.)
7. I should search for the second missing flail head inside Chardok drops off of a Caroeth battlemage, a Caroeth battlepriest or or an enchanted barricade in an Ornate Chest. (They are around the red portal. Some in front and more after it.)
8. Go to the Cave of Fear in Feerrott. Hail the Iksar Othixis( -1911, -25, 482 ) there who will ask you to find 5 tablets.
9. Go back to Chelsith and search for 5 clickable tablets. You will need to wait 30-60 minutes for a respawn on the tablets as there are only 4 known (waited on respawn for 5th):
   • Near the entrance ( 15, 4, 390 )
   • In a pool ( 162, 1, 250 )
   • At the Shrine of the Deep ( 434, 44, 130 )
   • On the ramp near the Shrine of the Deep ( 346, 16, 148 )
10. Return to Othixis.
11. Kill Burynai in the Bellywhumper Burrows near the The Abandoned Village until you get the pommel to drop in an ornate chest.
12. Return again to Othixis.
13. Kill 75 Reet Slaves in Sebilis - either near sporconids on lower level or near labs on upper level (look for orange dots on your map when you get close).
14. Kill Commander Jorah in Karnor's Castle (His placeholder does not give the update). Hes located in the room upstairs containing the Sarnak L&L clicky.
15. Kill 8 Sarnaks in Timorous Deep
16. Kill 8 Sarnaks in Chardok
17. Return to Weaponsmith Xass
18. Go to Nektulos Forest for final kill.
    • The zone in to the Instance where the final mob (82^^) is in front of where the Avatar of Hate( -1307, 48, -1509 ) spawns. There is an anvil on the ground near that location, click it to zone into instance. (Only Inquisitors on the same step may enter the instance.)

And bam, there you go, all done with your group epic.

Step 14 in Karnor's.. there is no such thing as Sarnak L&L it's Drolvarg.

Loc is roughly -187, -41, 74.

No idea what the respawn timer is with him, I'm in there ATM and have killed the officer...

And don't click the chest near the bed, it spawns 4 mobs :D

Not to be a nitpicky bitch but Sarnak L&L does exist but you are right about the one in the castle being Drolvarg. Get your facts straight before ya go correcting other people kthx.
