About stats

For a melee (BC) speced inq, will str be the stat that increases the damage of your damage spells, rather then int? will they be considered ca's? (i just started an inq so i havn't got a chance to see for myself yet)

Generally, for a melee (BC) speced inq, whats the main stats you want?

sta str and wis? or something else?

I would say that WIS is still your main stat. You're playing a healer afterall. After that I'd worry about STA since you can't heal if you're dead, however, STA is peppered around on almost all of the gear my toon wears so it's not a big deal. STR is my third stat. Increasing STR definately make the CA versions of your spells hit harder. However, INT, I believe (though I could be wrong) governs the amount of damage from the DOT component of those spells so you can't neglect it.

In order of preference, I'd say: WIS > STA/STR > INT > everything else

PVE-wisely speaking id sort the stats you would want like this:

str - wis - int - stam (- agi)

generally speaking you can stop pushing your stats when youve pushed wis because the gain from int is quite minor

Only problem is that its so hard to get those stats at lower tiers, mastercrafted gear shows no love for that stat combo..

I have to farm or buy fable gear, and work it out via adorns.

Leveling up, I did a split of the Mastercrafted between the STR and WIS gear. 3 pieces of Vanguard, 4 of Plate. Imbued STR/AGI rings. A similar split among the remaining jewelry. Can't find the ideal stat mix until T8 with the Righteous armor set.

Thats basicly what iv been doing, plus iv been puting wis adorns on the non wis gear and str adorns on the wis gear and some i put raw power on.

But still seem to lack that "healer" ability, well thats basicly cuz my heals are no way near as good as a pure healer like a warden ofcourse.. but i also tend to get out of power a bit to quick, if its a long fight... Sure that will change when i get the power drain and other higher tiers tools.

I leveled up mostly solo, so it was fine for the most part with a power proc adorn on the weapon and a lot of managing of Yalup - which will suck your power dry quickly at lower levels if you don't pay attention to it. If you do a lot of group healing, having spare caster stat gear to swap in via macro when needed is probably advisable. Finally getting Battle Cleric and Inquest make a huge difference in the power equation.
