For MT / OT healing you might be right, but it is very unlikely for DPS groups.

i think were on a beacon-streak right now. its been at least 6 beacons of loathing in a row!

anyways... i was also debating with myself that i might put the EMGs away if i need the tso gloves to get the 4 set bonus until we get a 5th piece.

about EMG vs. dark mail: i'd agree that the dark mail gloves really are better for templars in tank groups imo... merely for blessings/dirge_luck to increase the proc chance. but the less static the proc (the less templar you are :D) the dark mail gloves become less interesting

Darkmail for MT group and EMG for dps group templar imo.
MT groups is protected by wards and AE prevent much more then any other group anyway and the MT templar has to pretty much only deal with spike damage which is all about fast casting/reaction.

Choker/DPS group constantly takes damage throughout the whole group and is most likely not as well protected from AES.

Hell, most the time the EMGs just sit in my bag. Shard gloves for the Haste, and only swap the EMGs in when ridiculous amounts of damage is going to be incoming.

If I can get a decent haste jewelry piece I may consider the Dark Metal, and only swapping to EMGs for heavy damage fights, but most likely will just use the Set gloves to get the 4set bonus. (And hopefully be able to get an Ill Will by hook or by crook, but thats a whole different thread)

Was looking for Marrow's Song on saturday night when they dropped... no clerics in raid but fortunately I have an inq alt who popped in to pick up the EMGs

Got my gauntlets about 3 weeks ago, so they definitely still drop. Actually, we got 3 pairs in a 4 week span.

We have yet to see EMG drop since SoH went live...
And we do it every time it's up.
