Back to Star of Malice - So if I'm in DPS choker group, it's best to nab that and spec out of SA (I'm almost never in MT/OT so I feel the urge to spec away from it and into steadfast again) and melee the hell out of the mob to get it to proc?

Someone said that it AOE Heals but it's only in group or is it like Inquisition?

P.S. The gauntlets *will* save your group from those massive adds in a zone like deep seb when you run out of mana due to overlong fights....

As far I I know the pets from Star of Malice heal / ward raidwide.

As we have two regular Templars I also are very seldom in the OT group so I also think SA is not worth it. On the other side I still like the AE immunity and double attack of the AGI line while in DPS mode. It's nice if you don't have to joust most AEs. ;)

Currently I have a STR / STA / INT spec for Byzola, Trak and maybe Avatars (if we would be first seeing one) and AGI / STA / INT for all other fights.
We "only" raid 4 nights a week on a fixed schedule. That does not work out so well vs the 6-7 nights a week hardcore force on our server for contested mobs.

Nope, but I still like fast cast. But is is not so important any more due to our Mythical.

I 'll never by a Templar, but what does STR bring to a raid, if you don't need Steadfast? And for fights needing Steadfast I don't need Shield Ally and have no time to DPS, so AGI is kind of in vain.

if you don't need steadfast, don't go str. Its just really good for fights that stifle/interrupt a lot, like trakanon, byzola, and some avatars.
