Default + heal, heal crit or overflow

In order to maximize healing, what should the priorities be? I was going for +heal (and I still am not maxxed out on arch recovery) then heal crit. However, I have been examining things more closely and was wondering what others try to max first. Right now, my +heal amount is 735, wis 877 (w/o drinks, poitions), heal crit 37%. I have either legendary or fabled gear in all spots. I have 1 piece with overloaded heal and 1 with overflow. Should I be looking for more items with overload/overflow or stay with +heal? Do these increase the amount of healing more than +heal?

I find that as a general rule cit > mod
OL heal IMO ROCKS! I never pull any of my pieces off...
Currently in raid at 59% Crit and 505 Heal mod

Seems to work for me

I would say, Hateshield / Sprinklers > Amplify Healing > Overloaded Heal / Runic Cover / fast cast > Shelter / Healcrit > +heal > anything else > WIS

As a start you should not leave you home without at least 3 of 5 overloaded heal items, which are easy to get:
Cloak of the Traitor's Grace (Brocker - better RE2 cloak)
Sokohide Cuirass (Chardok questline 3rd quest)
Battlepriest's Plate Greaves (Jinisk Faction Merchan)
Yha-lei Bone Hoops (Questline in Jarsath Wastes)
Cuffs of the Polliwog Protector (last quest of the Reet questline in Sebilis)

As you can see 2 are buyable 3 are questable and as the quests aren't that hard / long (one even solo), there is no excuse not having them until you get some raid proc gear.

But for the Chest I would prefer the Crimson Robe of Alendine. While I have my BP from Trak, I still swich back to this robe from time to time; esp for cure heavy fights like the last named in Veksar.

For myself, I'm a bit of a heal crit junky. Up to 76% right now. Have to keep in mind at how easy it is to cap +healing on most of our heals. Once you reach around 400 to your heal mod, only Ministration and Arch Recovery will improve past that point. One of the other advantages I've found is your healing proc gear will use your crit rate as well.

Answering the OP: Hm, I would say get at least 1 piece with each effect (Runic Cover, OH), then concentrate on heal crit. Usually, many heal crit items also have a +heal mod bonus anyway. I wouldn't, as a cleric, pick an item simply because it has +heal mod. If you can get the hat/gloves from SOH, you're the king anyways.

Hateshield / Sprinkler
Empowered Heal / Cast Speed
Overloaded Heal / Runic Cover
+% Heal Mod Procs / Heal Crit
+Heal Amount

You'll be most effective in that priority list top to bottom. Heal crit/+heal amount will cap out, you will plateau in your heals and be behind people with less crit and heal amount using cast speed enhancers and lots of heal/ward procs that are put in the same group setup as you are.

Pardon my ignorance, what is the sprinkler item mentioned?

Would that be the effect from the Ethereal Mist Gauntlets (holy water sprinkle), or this item

Prayer-Bound Sprinkler

LootDB.com | EverQuest II Item Database - Prayer-Bound Sprinkler

Lootdb link does not have a pic of the item (or blocked from work), and where does this item drop?
