The mages could just move in with you for sure. This would eliminate all these problems, but most don't want to. I talked to some mages, that said, that they will loose out to much DPS due to the kicks of some mobs and that is why they are standing at max range.

Now you can decide who sucks. The Inquisitor, who wants his mages to melee (or to be at least at close range) or the mages who want to stand as far away as possible?

Mages who don't melee on (most) trash annoy me :P but then many are also quite lazy and can't figure out which trash are bad to melee or how to position quickly while avoiding frontal attacks.

Still, things like the magma golems, Thuuga trash, and the majority of named fights definitely require range of at least 15m, sometimes more, to avoid KBs, stuns, fears etc.

We'll talk about the OH nerfs when and if they happen I'm sure.

The only thing I don't like about "choker wearers" is when they don't tell me they are wearing it! I hate seeing people in yellow, I start going crazy thinking they are getting hit with something so I keep group HoT up, which is USELESS for chokers. (But then I feel stupid when they tell me and I forget doh!)

LOL, Pinski. I was thinking I was missing a spell. Only HoT I know of is Inquisition. Maybe that's not working because they aren't in range.

Hmm. I never have any real trouble keeping my group's choker users healed during just about any normal fight. The ones in my guild know when not to use them and when it's ok. This includes being the only healer in my group on raids, quite often.

And yes, I like to melee, debuff, haste etc. when I can. But first and foremost I am a healer. It is the job I am expected to do, the job I am hired to do, and do at least adequately for the encounter.

Which new heal item are you talking about? From Veksar? I was researching gear and I don't remember anything like this yet - I missed it?

I've seen the Gold Tempered Mask, but that is for the mages specifically. New item for them or us?

o nice, another shitty healer who doesn't think its their job to heal. people like the OP are the reasons why raid guilds struggle and have to run multiple healers per group. roll a fucking predator or sorcerer if you care so much about DPS. maybe a bard if you really care about raid dps. maybe a paladin if you still want to pretend to dps but have some faggy desire to pretend to heal your group occasionally too.

there are enough mobs with reactive damage shields that you DONT want to be even touching as a healer, period. and on trash? yeah, go ahead and dps in between group heals of course, but dont think thats why the raid leader invited you to the raid. who gives a fuck about trash anyway?

inquisition is a hot technically even tho it goes to the enemys heals unless changed in your parses.. but theres also the cloak of woven vines that procs a hot and the ethereal mist gloves that proc a hot.. so its not something thats really on a hotbar
