OK so I got that hammer from Deep Forge and with my new spec of DA 100% Crit 106% and the overwhelming arms, I'm doing A LOT more dps then i ever have. Self buffed that hammer has about 4.6 delay. Anyways, what have you all found after the new AAs to be the best weapon? Still using the Mallet o da twins? Or do I still need to convince my guild to go back to Pawbuster so i can get bonecrusher? Been healin to long, my dps brain went bye bye

im sporting dogwood staff since bonecrusher refused to drop. i heard the HQ reward from book of thex is supposed to be pretty nice but dont havy any details

May I ask why the dogwood? How often doesn the damage proc? I've been worried ever since the gauntlets that they nerfed dmg procs too. If bonecrusher dropped would you switch?

yea i would, mainly because its got a higher delay. plus the 15% avoid stuff is awesome too. in TSO ive often been in groups where the other healer present was able to keep up the tank so ive been using the staff with shield ally and been spothealing whenever needed

Well I did it, I got bonecrusher and have been swapping it out with the Blaze Wrought Great Hammer from deep forge and...... I'm not impressed. The hammer has more str, a higher max dmg, and 4 DA. Sure it has 8.0 delay, but solo its at 4.6 and raiding is even lower. Now I've only messed with it solo, will I see the benifit come raid time?

Bonecrusher is definitely going to give you better DPS if you can time auto-attacks and such, even if its proc never goes off (it actually does though and does decent DPS).

The 8.0 second delay on the Deep Forge one would probably make it better if you're healing or using spells to DPS or if you just can't time auto-attacks very well for whatever reason.

For example, if you're capped on auto-attack haste, Bonecrusher's delay is 2.22 and Lava Wrought's is 3.55. If your spells/CAs only allow Bonecrusher to swing every 2.5 seconds but don't interrupt Lava Wroughts swings at all, then Lava Wrought would do about as much DPS as Bonecrusher (at least ignoring Bonecrusher's proc).

So far, I seem to get the best DPS outta the bonecrusher... I don't time my CA's... Basicly dbuff then chain cast til the debuffs wear off rinse and repeat... Do you guys time your CA's and find a large increase in DPS or is it minor?

I guess I should also mention I'm not much of a DPS guru, But I'd like to be! So any suggestions for improvement is much appriciated
