I dunno, the group reactive is good on heavy AOE fights, might've been worth trying it out if I still played.

No it isn't. I tried it. If it could proc when you refresh an reactive, then it might be useful, but as it only procs if the reactive runs out or all charges are used up it is not. Even on a Trak fight it was only 4% of my HPS and I used the group reactive every time it was up. (We all know, that on a Trak fight all charges will be used up in no time.)

To be usefull in it's current form it should have at least double it's current value (as an emergency heal) or it should proc when you refesh the group reactive for it's current value. Both might be reasonable solutions, but the current version is just not worth any points.

I guess what I would like to see is Allied Prayers have an 11% chance to proc a group heal per reactive trigger.

There would still be times that it would not trigger if the group/tank was at max health, but the goal for this AA is to see it provide about 10 to 15% increase in healing when the fights are tough.

The single target and group heals were boosted aver 25%, healing stance boosts at least 10%, a 10 to 15% practical boost seems fair.

I tried the group reactive "allied prayers" on beta and was sorely let down. I invested points into Devoted Healing and have not looked back.

You're looking at getting roughly one trigger of Allied Prayers every 15 seconds, if people are taking enough hits and you do not refresh it before expiration. For what it heals, per person, it is pretty dismal. Devoted healing gives me a much more reliable, tangible turnaround for my AA points invested.

Obviously, different people will have different preferences, but to me, Allied Prayers is a clear bench-warmer, based on how it works and how it parses.

Wasn't enjoying the last guild I was in for months, contemplated trying to go and join my lover, Avirodar, in Strike, but couldn't get the work hours to do that, so Character's been sold.

From the Test Update Notes:
Quote:
Allied Prayers will trigger properly if the cleric is casting.
The question is: Does this mean that Allied Prayers will proc if you refresh your group reactive or only that it is a bugfix and it did not trigger, if you where casting while your reactive was used up?

If it would be the 1st it might be worth trying it again. (Always DPS group healer)

from my understanding of the wording it seems like it will now proc if you are casting another spell when it wears off
