I love how people overdramatize things...

Loot cards have been around since LoN started... people buy, trade, pay plat or real money for cards to redeem for in-game items - whether those are mounts, baubles, house items, illusions or potions. Whoop-dee-do. No one's feathers are ruffled.

Now, the same thing will happen, only instead of having to buy X number of booster packs and be lucky enough to get an item, instead you'll have a chance of getting a key to an instance -- which will drop similar items as what the loot cards are currently giving.

So you're butt-hurt because you don't want to spend money to zone into an instance that will not drop game-altering loot anyway? Or because you feel that the developer's time would be better served doing stuff you consider more important?

No one's even even seen the instance or the loot and yet the doomsday is here, apparently.

It might be unthinkable for you, but I don't play / played EQ2 for loot. I play it to experience content. And this time I can't do that if I don't buy LON booster.

That Dev time went into developing LON content is the last bit, that is to much.

I hope you are satisfied, that I cried enough or should I cry more?

I have a quick question about 2 BP's.

I have them both, but curious which would you wear?

I am looking over the focus of the Unholy Breastplate and the idea to give people in the group %5 to worn armor and reduction of crit damage by 10% is alot to lose. The 20% alleviation to me is not that big of a deal snce the High Priest BP procs 2.4 times a minute heal.

ummm alleviation focus is sweet... alleviation is my highest parsing heal, heck it currently almost completely heals my group whenever I cast it (if I do not have a heal crit debuff on).

The RoK BP sucked balls because OLH was so OP that any increase to a group heal was pointless when it already could do 30k plus per heal (per person).

on that note, the avatar plate BP is rather useless for an inquisitor in raid settings. Heck the only mobs I can think of off the top of my head where it would have some use are Gozak and Avatar of Flame as that reactive heal IF up could buy you a few seconds healing someone in an "oh shit" scenario.

Except that the reactive heal doesnt proc from dot ticks, or at least shouldnt.

aye, not from the ticks but from the initial hit. That is why it is really only useful on those mobs. Gozak has a shit load of AEs and if you fall behind on healing/cure that initial extra heal could easily save someone by letting them absorb another tick soon after.

For flame it is essentially the same, except instead of AEs it is poor luck with pillars.
