So I know I'm only level 16 and shouldn't expect much but; I'm 69/75 for crushing and it seems that 60+% of my swings are misses. Whether they're CA's or auto attacks.

I can't imagine the last 6 points out of 75 will make that much of a difference. Certainly wont make up for 60% misses. To my knowledge no stat on gear I could find would help that at these levels. Maybe 60+ I can start finding +crushing.

My question:
1. Is there anything I can do to increase my hit rate at these lower levels?

2. Does it get any better than this or should I expect a horrible hit rate for the life of my inquis?


Edit:
I forgot to mention that I'm fighting mostly blue solo and heroic mobs. Green mobs seem to go just fine.

1. You can get the end ability for battle cleric, that increases your crushing skill by 10.5 at level 17.

-sometimes I answer myself, both in text and verabally ;)

and yes: the hitrates are horrible in lower levels. i tried to start a warden once, but its just too awful to do anything until the warden gets his skill buff

1.) Keep your crushing skill maxed. Run a parse rather than relying on your eyes. Also try parsing against different types of mobs.

2.) It definitely gets better, but not a lot better until a lot later (T8). In DPS gear, I'm running around at ~500 crushing skill, and my hit rate is usually in the mid-high 90's.
